Like many of you, last week I was shocked out of my mind about the news of the earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan – and I continue to be in absolute shock amid concerns about nuclear plants, subsequent tsunami, hundreds of aftershock and the weather there. I found out about the initial mega-quake while perusing Twitter one night and then, of course, tuning into CNN and BBC simultaneously. On Saturday, I tuned into CNN and watched as Josh Levs discussed the role social media played in the midst of this disaster.

As per usual, I logged on to the “Account Settings” page and while flipping through some stuff, noticed a very new menu option on the screen. Dogfood settings.
