You can say what you will about Mother Monster, but with 10 million (and growing!) followers on Twitter, Lady Gaga is one of the few entertainers who speaks candidly to her fanbase and interacts with them regularly. Her Twitter account doesn’t exist solely to promote her music – she also offers words of encouragement and support to those who struggle with self-confidence and other issues. Anyhoo, Gaga and Google Chrome teamed up to shoot a commercial (which took all of 10 days to my understanding). Its airing last night on Saturday Night Live! marked Google Chrome’s TV advertising debut and introduced an interesting advertising ploy. Gaga’s new single The Edge of Glory was released on May 9 and, within hours of its release, Gaga’s Little Monsters began uploading videos of themselves dancing and singing to the song.

I do it, you do it – most of us do it. Sitting for 8hrs at a desk all day, that is. Recently, I read an article on a medical blog about a probable link between sitting for extended periods and the occurrence of colon cancer. *whoa*. Check out this infographic – you may want to click it to get the larger version of the image. Sitting for extended periods is never a good idea – that’s why I make an effort to get up every hour or 30 mins and go for a little walk! (I’d rather be safe than sorry, lol)
